Box Scheme Practicalities
Veg Zone
Order Form

Our box scheme customers receive a box of fresh, seasonal, local produce delivered to their door. See our Box Scheme Practicalities page for more details about how the scheme works.

We offer five year-round box options, which we deliver to home or work addresses in Frome on Thursday afternoons/evenings:

  • Mini (min 8 items in smaller quantities) - £7.95
  • Small (min 6 items) - £9.65
  • Medium (min 8 items) - £12.65
  • Large (min 10 items) - £15.75
  • Potato & Onion free box (min 7 items) - £11.75

The boxes generally contain potatoes, onions and carrots (apart from the potato & onion free box, of course!) The remaining items are made up of seasonal vegetables which vary week by week. Summer examples include: tomato, sweetcorn, broccoli, cucumber, lettuce, beans, pepper, peas, spinach, courgette. Winter examples include: cabbage, beetroot, parsnip, swede, celeriac, kale, leek, cauliflower, squash and cut salad leaves.

We can also deliver an extra bag of potatoes for £1.80.

Please fill out an order form from the menu to the left if you would like to join the scheme, or contact us if you want to find out more about it. We encourage long term customers to pay by standing order (details are on our weekly newsletter with the box), but in the first instance you can pay by cash or cheque on delivery (cheques payable to 'Vallis Veg Boxes').

Our newsletter details the produce available to box scheme customers week-by-week. You might also want to have a look at our Veg Zone page, which gives further information on some of the vegetables we offer, or find recipes, news and other information about what we're up to from our blog.

Please note that in 2012 we will be spending most of our time restructuring our market garden site physically, restructuring our business organisationally and developing our planning application to secure the long-term future of our business. So for one year only we won't be growing much produce on our site but will be buying most of it in from other local suppliers. We hope our customers will continue to support us during this transitional phase - your support will enable us to grow more vegetables using sustainable methods for local consumption in Frome in the longer term!
