Sustainable Frome is a local community organisation which is doing a whole host of things to promote sustainability in and around the town. Have a look at the Sustainable Frome website and discussion forum.

Food Frome is another local organisation involved in excellent work on local food and food heritage.

As well as helping to run Vallis Veg, Chris writes about farming, rural issues and sustainability. His work has appeared in newspapers and magazines such as The Independent on Sunday, BBC Wildlife Magazine and The Countryman as well as academic journals such as the Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture.
