We shall be running a stall at the Frome Green Fair in the Cheese & Grain on Sunday 11 July. If you're interested in joining our veg box scheme feel free to come and have a chat with us about it. And if you're already a customer do drop by to say hello!

Gladys is working hard on putting together an excellent permaculture design course to start in January 2011. A lot of the practical work on the course will be based on our market garden site in Vallis Vale. Further details from Gladys's website here.

The new season's crops are now coming through in the market garden. When I took this picture a couple of weeks ago the lettuces were outstripping the courgettes, but it won't be long before the courgettes are holding their own. I plant alternate beds of these plants so that I don't get lost in a jungle of courgettes later in the summer. A bit of rain and they'll be ready to take off!
