Pitch info

All of the pitches are separated by vegetation and you’ll need to check the size of the tent space on individual pitches (see below) to be sure that your tent will fit, but here are the groupings of pitches:

Pitch 11 has two tent sites and a covered area with a fire pit – it’s good for eg. a couple of families or a few friends.

Pitches 1, 2, and 3 are in a line fairly near pitch 11. all these pitches have light tree cover around them.

Pitches 5 and 6 are nearish each other and among trees so are quite shady. Pitch 6 is good for hanging hammocks.

Pitches 7, 8, 9 and 10 are near each other and are fairly near pitch 11. They have lower vegetation and a few trees plus some trees skirting the area. You need a minimum of 4 adults to book pitch 11.

Pitch 12 is not available to book online - it's got no parking place and it's usually used for last minute hikers or cyclists who arrive on the day they want to camp. It's next to two rows of trees which are quite good for hammocks.

Pitches 13 and 14 are not all that close, but share a small open field so you can see one pitch from the other and otherwise no-one else is in that area.

Pitch 15 is alone at the bottom of a small open field with trees around some edges.

Pitch 16 is large – it fits four large tents or many smaller ones and is suitable for a small group and is at the top of a small hill in an open field that is surrounded by trees. You need a minimum of 6 people to book pitch 16.
